1. About This Policy

Quick Convert is an iPhone utility for converting supported images, PDFs, text documents, audio, and video. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, purchase a subscription, receive notifications, or contact us.

The current version converts your selected files on your device. It does not upload their contents to our servers for conversion. Local conversion does not mean that the entire app operates offline or collects no information. Membership verification, free-use allowances, notifications, app statistics, and advertising measurement use network services.

You do not need to create a Quick Convert account to convert files. Apple purchases, file providers, and sharing destinations may have their own account requirements and privacy policies.

2. Information and Purposes

Selected files and conversion history

The app reads files you select through Apple's Files or Photos pickers. It creates local imported copies, previews, thumbnails, and converted outputs. File names, formats, sizes, and task records help you review and find your files. A password supplied for a protected PDF is used for the current operation and is not saved in conversion history.

File contents are processed locally for conversion. If you choose to save, share, or email a file, the destination you select will receive and handle it. A cloud-backed file provider may also download or synchronize selected files under its own rules.

Device and service information

Our services receive a persistent, randomly generated device identifier and app information to verify membership, manage free-use allowances, and maintain service access. Membership information can include subscription status and expiration details.

Our services also process device-linked feature-use and conversion-outcome statistics to understand usage and improve the app. These statistics do not include conversion file contents or file names.

Purchase information

Apple handles payments. Membership verification may involve purchase receipts, product and transaction information, subscription status, and a device identifier. These are used to verify access, restore eligible purchases, and handle subscription changes. The app does not directly receive your payment card number or Apple Account password.

Notification information

Notification registration involves an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token, a device identifier, authorization status, app and build versions, operating-system version, language, region, and push environment. Apple and our notification service process this information to register devices and manage notification delivery.

Meta/Facebook information

The app integrates Meta/Facebook SDK for app events, analytics, advertising measurement, and attribution. Information can include app activity, sessions, device and app information, SDK identifiers, and, when tracking is authorized, the advertising identifier. Section 5 explains your tracking choices.

Support and network connections

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or diagnostic information you choose to provide. We use these to respond and investigate your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive files.

Network connections also expose information such as an IP address to the receiving service. Network-log handling depends on the relevant service.

3. Files, Photos, and Permissions

  • Files: The system picker allows you to choose files for the app to read and copy. If a selected file belongs to another provider, that provider's handling is subject to its own policy.
  • Photos and videos: The app uses the system Photos picker to import selected items. Selecting an item does not require permission to read your entire photo library.
• Saving to Photos: When you choose to save supported output images to Photos, iOS may request permission to add photos. If you decline, other available saving or sharing options remain usable.
  • Notifications: The app requests notification permission after you reach the home screen. Permission is optional and can be managed in iPhone Settings.
  • Tracking: Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt controls tracking authorization. Declining or restricting tracking does not revoke conversion functionality or paid membership benefits.

You can manage applicable permissions in iPhone Settings. Denying a permission may prevent the particular action that depends on it.

4. Subscriptions and Notifications

Apple subscriptions

Quick Convert Plus offers weekly and monthly subscriptions. Apple processes purchases, renewals, cancellations, and applicable refunds. Our membership service processes the limited device and purchase information needed to verify access.

The current default reference prices for these auto-renewable plans are:

Plan Billing period Default reference price
Weekly Every week US$4.99 per week
Monthly Every month US$12.99 per month

Valid pricing configuration may change the app's displayed offer. Actual prices, currencies, billing periods, taxes, and eligible offers may vary by Apple Account region. Review Apple's purchase confirmation before buying; the terms confirmed by Apple control the actual purchase. Unless an eligible offer is expressly shown there, the plans do not include a free trial.

Restoring a purchase may require communication with Apple and our membership service. Deleting the app or clearing conversion history does not cancel a subscription or delete purchase information held by Apple. See the Terms of Use for billing and entitlement details.

You can manage or cancel your subscription on your iPhone in Settings > your name (Apple Account) > Subscriptions > Quick Convert > Cancel Subscription. See Apple's cancellation instructions. The remaining access period is determined by the subscription status Apple shows.

Push notifications

With your permission, Quick Convert uses Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and our notification service to deliver basic messages from the development team to your device. Registration information identifies the destination device and its authorization and language settings, and distinguishes development from production delivery.

You can turn notifications off in iPhone Settings. The app checks authorization again when it becomes active and updates applicable registration information. Declining notifications does not prevent local conversion or invalidate an existing subscription. Notification registration does not upload your conversion files.

5. Meta/Facebook and ATT

Meta/Facebook SDK processes app events and related information for analytics, advertising measurement, and attribution. Advertising identifier collection is disabled by default and enabled only after ATT authorization.

Declining ATT does not stop all app events or operational service processing. Membership verification, free-use management, and relevant events that do not depend on the advertising identifier may continue. The app does not currently provide a separate switch to disable all usage statistics.

Manage tracking authorization in iPhone Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. Meta handles information it receives under the Meta Privacy Policy. We do not send local conversion file contents or file names as these analytics events.

6. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Local files and settings

The app stores imported copies, converted outputs, thumbnails or caches, preferences, and the most recent 20 conversion tasks on your device. A 20-task history display does not mean that all older files are automatically deleted.

  • Deleting an individual history record offers an option to delete its associated converted outputs from app storage.
  • Clearing history with the file-deletion option removes imported copies and outputs stored by the app.
  • Removing records alone is not the same as deleting every related file. Review the options on the confirmation screen.
  • Original files, copies saved to Files or Photos, and files shared elsewhere are managed separately. Deleting app history does not remove those copies.
  • Uninstalling normally removes local app-container data, but does not automatically cancel subscriptions or remove files you saved or shared outside the app.

File processing and third-party information

Your conversion files are processed and stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers for conversion. Use the local deletion options described above to manage the copies stored by the app.

Apple, Meta, email providers, and destinations you select handle and retain information under their respective policies. Clearing app history does not automatically erase information those services have received.

7. Recipients and Third-Party Services

Information is handled by the following services where relevant:

  • Apple: System file and photo tools, App Store payments and purchase verification, and APNs. See the Apple Privacy Policy.
  • Meta/Facebook: App events, analytics, advertising measurement, and attribution. See the Meta Privacy Policy.
  • Our service infrastructure: Membership, free-use allowances, notification registration, app configuration, and usage statistics. Content delivery services also receive network requests when the app downloads onboarding artwork. That artwork is app presentation material, not your imported content.
  • Destinations you choose: File providers, sharing targets, and email services process information you deliberately save, share, or send to them.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or necessary to address security incidents or protect legitimate rights, subject to applicable requirements.

Because the app uses international services such as Apple and Meta, information may be processed outside your country or region. Provider locations and practices are governed by their disclosures. Applicable cross-border processing requirements must be considered where relevant.

8. Your Choices and Requests

You can manage permissions, disable notifications or tracking, remove local files and records, and manage subscriptions through Apple. Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing.

To protect privacy, we may need to verify the relationship between a request and the relevant device or purchase before responding. Requests concerning information held by independent third parties may need to be handled through their respective channels. Do not send payment card details, passwords, or unrelated sensitive files.

9. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required by applicable law. The app does not implement a dedicated age-verification mechanism. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to applicable requirements, please contact us.

10. Security

The app uses HTTPS for relevant service communications, the system Keychain for device identifiers and applicable notification tokens, and iOS app-storage protections for local files. Protect your device and Apple Account, and review the destinations you choose for exports and sharing. No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security.

11. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as features or practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Changes requiring additional notice or consent must be handled as applicable requirements provide.
